ABOUT ME

If you love all things NBA, you’ve found the right destination! I’m a fledgling NBA writer to the blogosphere but hope to win you over with insightful content.

I grew up in a small town in Indiana where basketball wasn’t just a sport. It was a religion. I lived just 25 miles from French Lick, Indiana. For you NBA fans, you would know that is where Larry Bird’s legendary career originated.

April 20, 1986 is a red-letter date for me. It was the day Larry Bird famously quoted, “That wasn’t Michael Jordan out there. That was God disguised as Michael Jordan.” I had the privilege of watching that game on live television over at my grandparent’s house – they were huge Celtics fans. I was an impressionable preteen who thought the NBA was cool, but that day Jordan dropped 63 points on the storied Celtic dynasty will forever be etched in my memory.

After that 1986 series between the Celtics and Bulls, I not only became a fan of Michael Jordan but I became an avid NBA fan. As the years melted away, we’ve seen many greats come and go through the league.

In my opinion, the state of the NBA is stronger than it’s ever been! The sheer talent is undeniable as players are increasing their skill and knowledge of the game. It’s ever evolving, and I feel compelled to take the opportunity to share my observations with you.
